Sree Neelachala Seva Sangha (Regd.) is a registered non-profit and non-political society dedicated to promoting classical Indian dances, including Odishi, and engaging in social welfare activities. Our objectives involve assisting the underprivileged sections of society through initiatives such as organizing medical health check-up camps, providing food to the impoverished and needy children, and supporting financially challenged patients. Additionally, we arrange ritual activities at the Jagannath Mandir in Hauz Khas, New Delhi.
We operate under the 80G & 12A (Income Tax Act), allowing you to make donations and receive income tax benefits. All donations made to Sree Neelachala Seva Sangha (Regd.) are eligible for tax deductions under the Indian Income Tax Act of the Government of India. Upon recommendation from the office of the Commissioner of Income Tax (E), any project conducted by Sree Neelachala Seva Sangha (Regd.) in Hauz Khas, New Delhi qualifies for tax deductions on the contributor’s contribution.
As per the revised tax exemption act effective April 1, 2017, donations exceeding Rs. 5000 to our society are eligible for a 50% tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. By contributing to our cause, you will not only support feeding underprivileged children, providing education to the less fortunate, and promoting artistic and cultural skills among children but also avail tax deduction benefits for yourself.
Once you make a donation, we will send you a receipt, a Tax Exemption Certificate, and a ‘Thank you’ letter via courier, post, or email. These documents, which you will receive within 10 days of making the donation, can be used to claim tax exemption for the corresponding financial year.
